Acharya Shri Rangarajan Kalyanaraman (Rangaji) is a student disciple of Guruji Shri Swami Brahmayogananda. Rangaji was initiated by his Guruji to this lineage of traditional teaching to take forward the vision of vedanta. With his guru’s grace Acharya Shri. Rangaji assumed the Vyasa Peetham in Sep 2014.

Born to Smt. Lalitha Kalyanaraman & Bagavatha Sironmani Shri V V Kalyanaraman, Shri Rangaji hails from a family of Bhagavatha Sampradaya endowed with bhakthi and vedic samskaras. He was also initiated into Veda Adyayanam during his childhood.

Guruji moulded Shri Rangaji as a traditional teacherto communicate the vision of shastras to the common man. Shri.Rangaji has a lucid style of teaching coupled with real life examples in his engaging one hour (approx) sessions. His classes bring out the relevance of shastras in one’s life, which has made an impact and transformed the lives of many committed students.

A Chartered Accountant by qualification Shri Rangaji’s prime objective has been Shastra Patanam (Study of Shastra) and Shastra Paatanam (Teaching of Shatras) enabling many students to be engaged in Vedanta through his regular classes in Chennai.

He has a deep understanding of the shastras and adequate knowledge in Sanskrit. He strictly follows the traditional system of teaching carried down by the parampara starting from the Adi Guru Dakshinamurthy, through Bhagavan Veda Vyasa and Adi Shankara Bhagavadpada.
